OMG! You're doing such a great service! I hope they all get saved.
DH has promised me that someday when we build our dream home on acreage that we can have horses. Unfortunately that's not for years yet.
Fingers crossed that enough people will step up and keep them from the slaughterhouse.
I just copied and sent this out on our community Wish List e-mail distribution list. I hope that's OK.
Twenty years ago we would have been interested. In fact, around this time we bought a horse for our daughter. It was in winter conditions that M went to pick it up and nearly crashed crossing an icy bridge.
We had two horses for many years. Then one died and we sold the other.
If you call the number, they have all been adopted.
Thanks, Renie. That is the best outcome possible. I tried calling, but it did not ring.
LSM, I hope you can have horses one day. It was always a dream of mine, too, until I married Mr. C. He is not a horsey person.
Rita, Thanks for reposting. Your daughter must have loved having a horse! Sorry one died. I hope it was from old age.
Yes, it was old age.
